Social Sciences
At Aparima College our Social Science Department strive to increase the knowledge of national and local histories whilst developing critical inquiry skills. Learning about history requires thinking critically about historical events, people, and places and considering why they still matter today. Young New Zealanders now learn about the place they live in, drawing on evidence to uncover a narrative to tell a story, to find truths.
