The virtual company allows them to learn how to run a business but with plenty of support, while creating a real-world product means that students can reach real-world customers and make real-world profit. There is a focus on learning how to run a business sustainably and fairly, including aspects such as finances, human resources, marketing and sales, and writing business reports. As part of the national Young Enterprise Scheme, our students have the opportunity to compete in regional and national competitions, win valuable prizes and trips, and network with business people and like-minded students from across New Zealand.
